Airbrushing, wiring...
I used Faskolor water-based paint for airbrushing with an Aztek A470 airbrush. Faskolor doesn't need thinning
and is also used on Lexan bodies for radio controlled cars. A 94 cent can of clear enamel spray paint was used
as a top coat. To get the "orange peel" out, I used the Black Gold polishing kit.
'57 Corvette
I picked up this model at a thrift store for $2. A few pieces were missing, but I made my own.
It was my first attempt at airbrushing and wiring. It has brakelines, fuel lines, spark plug wires, seat belts (the
buckles were made from an aluminium soda can), battery cables, tire valve stems, and the grille was made from a computer speaker
cover.

'49 Mercury. My first attempt at painting flames. Included is the basic wiring
and plumbing, wire for radiator hose clamps and fuel filler tube, and an oil dipstick. Flocking was used for the carpet, seats,
door panels and headliner. The whitewall tires were airbrushed as well.
2nd place in the Low Rider Bomb catagory at Big Boys Toys.
For my next build, I'd like to be on Monster Garage
and put my skills to use!
